The Forster Thermix Vario system is based on a mullion/transom construction for thermally insulated curtain walls. The steel profile features very narrow facing widths from 45 mm, allowing for a wide range of applications such as fire protection and burglary resistance, even with fire resistance levels up to -/90/90 (walls). The internal side profiles (steel or stainless steel) perform the load bearing function.

With an innovative processing tool, it can save your time and enhance accuracy with pre-marked weather strippings.

There are two different variants:

• Forster Thermfix Vario for  safety applications and sloped glazings
• Forster Thermfix Vario HI for highly insulated curtain walls without safety requirements

Both system versions can be combined with each other and with thermally insulated doors and windows from the system Forster Unico.

Forster Thermfix Vario is a comprehensive fire-protection system suitable for use as vertical glazings, as well as curtain walls in fire-resistant categories EI30 / EI60 / EI90 / E30-E90 / EW30- EW60.
